DD just got her Jess doll today. She is so excited, but Jess's head tilts to one side. She doesn't want to send her back for a new one but keeps mentioning the head. Has anyone else received a doll with a tilted head?

I think one of my dolls has a slightly crooked head- barely noticeable, but I think the crooked heads are cute.

We recieved a My Twinn doll for my 7 year old and the neck was broke...She was so upset to send her back after having her only a couple of days...But, we let her pesonalize the letter and open the box when it came home, she forgot she ever left.

My AGT21 has a head that tilts. I think it's cute, unique and makes her stand out from my other girls!
If your DD doesn't mind, I'd keep her. If it really stays an issue, deal with it then. You have until Jess is retired in December to decide.

My Kit also has a slight head tilt. I just think it gives her more personality. And I don't think I'd mind with a Jess, either.

My Kailey has a bit of a head tilt. She's an MCM doll, and I'm thinking that's why she was returned. I still think she's beautiful.
My Lindsey, on the other hand, seems to have one leg longer than the other. I know it sounds absurd, but I swear when she stands straight her body leans slightly to one side.

I've heard that that's sort of common with Jess, don't know why.
It's because the head is slightly loose. It's not a big deal at all, the head won't come off anytime soon. My AGOT 17 (Sara) has the same issue, but she's ten years old and her head hasn't come off yet.
If you want to fix it, you can untie her neck strings and fiddle with her head until you like it, then tie the head back in place. Or, you can say she's cocking her head all the time and leave it at that.

DD's AG#4 was like that and we just untied the strings, moved the stuffing a bit, and retied the strings. We now have a straight head. It took about 2 minutes total time to fix.

I had Kailey at one time and she had a slightly tilted head and wouldn't stand alone very well. It bugged me and I was constantly trying to straighten her.
